Home Buyer Report

The RICS Home Buyer Report is suited to more modern properties, of standard construction, built in the last 100 years.

 

The RICS Home Buyer Report provides information on the condition of the property and advice to your solicitor. The report gives professional advice on the issues that may affect the value of the property; there will also be a dedicated section to provide advice on repairs and ongoing maintenance requirements.

 

When you receive the report the defects of the property will be highlighted, so you can consider the value of your purchase in line with any budget you will need for future works.

Building Survey

The RICS Building Survey is particularly suited to older buildings, unusual construction, or those with major extensions or alterations.  It is also the best choice where you know or suspect that there may be significant defects that need attention.

 

The report will detail the methods and material used in construction, advice on defects and repair options.  The report findings will be illustrated by photographs to enable you to appreciate the surveyor's findings.

 

Many older properties have distinct needs in terms of maintenance, preservation and repair.  It is essential to understand this, to preserve and enhance the value of your investment.

Residential Property Valuation

If you want to sell your property, have shared ownership or an equity loan and therefore need to know the property value, we can offer an independent valuation service.  We are a South Gloucestershire based company and have valued a range of local properties.

Home Buyer +

You may add on some additional services with the Home Buyer + survey report. For an additional fee we can provide the surveyor’s professional opinion on the ‘market value’ of the property, a list of problems that the surveyor considers may affect the value of the property, an insurance reinstatement figure for the property.
